Bigger arrays earn more.Because your battery already runs the home on cheap off-peak power, every unit your panels generate is exported for income rather than used in the house. More panels means more generation, so a larger array simply earns more each year, for a fixed cost per panel.
Scaffolding is priced separately.Safe access for installation requires scaffolding. Where it's not already present it typically costs £650–£1,650 (depending on the size of array and number of aspects), and is added to your Estimate only where required. The bundle prices above exclude it.
Export income is illustrative.Your actual income varies with your roof, location and the SEG rate you're on. Every figure here is an Estimate. Your tailored design and price are confirmed at survey and formal Quotation. Savings are illustrative. Actual savings will depend on your chosen tariff and system usage.

Each extra panel adds about £59 a year of export income for a fixed cost, so larger bundles pay back faster.

Sized to your roof
Your final array is sized to your roof's area, orientation and pitch, all confirmed at survey.
How we work it out.Present panel output rating is typically 0.45–0.50 kWp (we use 0.465 kWp in these calculations) and generates roughly 850 kWh per kWp a year (no shading factor applied, which is confirmed at survey). Because your battery runs the home, all generation is exported at the Smart Export Guarantee rate (assumed 15p/kWh), so annual income = generation × 15p, about £59 per panel each year. Breakeven is the price divided by the annual income, with that income assumed to grow at 5% a year as energy prices rise. The 25-year total applies that same 5% annual inflation to the export income. We do not factor in panel output degradation, which is small in practice. Bundle prices exclude scaffolding. This is an Estimate. Your design, associated array output, and price are confirmed and presented after survey in a formal Quotation.
